2nd FEBRUARY 2025 BY PASTORS S&S MUSABAYANA🔊📢📢📢📢 Words of Wisdom
As believers, it is essential that we know the Word of God intimately. We must not treat every biblical event as a lifestyle simply because others experienced it. It is vital to understand that people in the Bible moved on after certain events, and we should not adopt their experiences as the basis for how we live our lives.
For example, some people claim they do not need to work, saying, “We only need to preach the Word of God.” While it is true that Peter said he would serve God while others worked, this does not mean that he spent his entire life in ministry without engaging in any work. We see Peter staying with fellow believers like Simon the tanner in Joppa and he was there as a guest not preaching. Even the disciples, who waited for the Holy Spirit in the upper room, did not stay there forever.
Consider Daniel who preached about God, who, although a captive, served the king. That was part of working whilst serving God. Abraham, a man of faith, recruited soldiers and went to war which is working.
The message here is that you must be prayerful, but you also need to work and preach God in your working place so as to fight poverty and not to make unbelievers think God doesn’t prosper people.
BIBLE STUDY📖📖📖📚: How to Defeat the Amalekite Spirit ( Continuation)
6. Trusting God’s Timing and Justice
Sometimes, the enemies we face will not be defeated in one battle. Victory comes in stages. Exodus 14:14 says, “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” In Exodus 17:14, God made a vow to destroy the Amalekites forever. We know that God will ultimately grant us victory over our enemies, but there is a time for His justice to manifest, even when we have been fighting for a long time so we should be still.
7. Build an Altar That God Will Remember
We should not invest in things that will not last. Do things that will continue to speak for you even after you’re gone. For example, prayers for your children’s protection or acts of giving can continue to benefit your generation after you have passed.
In Genesis 17:15, after God’s promise to destroy the Amalekites, Moses built an altar and named it Jehovah Nissi, meaning, “The Lord is my Banner” or “The Lord is my Victory.” That altar stands as a reminder of God’s strength and victory.
Verse 16 tells us that God will continue to fight the Amalekites from generation to generation. When you build an altar—whether through prayer, giving, or acts of faith—God remembers His promises to you. After each victory, build an altar to continue to destroy the remainder of the enemy’s hold over your life even after you die.
8. The Right Weapons for Victory
To defeat the Amalekite spirit, we need a dual approach—both spiritual and physical. In the battle against the Amalekites, Moses led spiritual intercession, while Joshua led the physical battle Exodus 17:8-13. Both were essential for victory. This reminds us that both prayer and hard work are required to overcome life’s challenges.
It is not enough to pray without working. Similarly, working without praying is ineffective. For example, if you want to be promoted at work, you need to pray for favor, but you also need to put in the effort, skill, and dedication to your job because this spirit has no fear of God meaning prayer will not suffice alone.
Women, especially, must be both spiritually grounded and be smart physically and attractive to your husband.

The Bible says, “I will give you shepherds after my own heart” (Jeremiah 3:15). Your spiritual leader is not only there to guide your faith but also to help you with practical life decisions, like choosing the right career or degree program.
It’s important not to treat your pastor as someone who can fix the problems you’ve created after making the wrong decisions. You should seek their counsel before making life-changing decisions.
THEME: THEY HAVE NOT SEEN IT👀👀👀
Numbers 17:6-8 shows the story where the twelve tribes each bring a rod (a staff) to Moses. God then causes Aaron’s rod to miraculously bud and produce almonds, confirming his divine selection for the priesthood.
In life, anything can happen at any time. A person may rise or fall without warning. In Hollywood, for example, everything was destroyed by a sudden fire, and no one knew the cause despite all their wisdom. Wisdom has where it starts and ends just like in America they dont know the cause of fire with all their wisdom that they have, the people with a system to detect weapons coming in their country but couldn’t know the cause of the fire. So we need to rely on God on everything.
Moses did not copy anyone when performing the miracles that led to the flowering of Aaron’s staff. He relied on God alone. Similarly, you will lay down your staff, and it will blossom because you have God on your side. Those who have looked down on you will be amazed at the promotion and favor God will bring into your life.
Declaration:
I declare that you will rise, just as Joseph rose from prison to the palace! God will use what others have meant for your downfall as a stepping stone to your promotion. Even if you lack qualifications, God will elevate you by His grace.
The last shall be first, and even with the most unlikely weapon—like David’s sling—you will defeat giants in your life. Your enemies will think they have buried you, but in reality, they will be advertising your promotion.
Do not be like an eagle among chickens. You may not yet realize your potential, but you are capable of great things. Never let others influence you to believe you cannot rise. You have the capacity to build businesses, own property, and live in prosperity. You are a mighty child of God!
Just as great women of faith like Maria Woodworth Etter and Catherine Kuhlman performed extraordinary spiritual feats, you too are equipped with spiritual gifts. Nothing can stop you from achieving greatness in the kingdom of God.
This message should encourage and empower you to rise above challenges, knowing that with God, all things are possible and your staff will bloom with flowers amongst others.
